Last updated: May 7, 2026
Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of johnthompsonre.com and any related services offered by John Thompson Real Estate ("we," "our," or "us"). By using the site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the site in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the site or its systems.
- Scrape, crawl, or otherwise harvest property listings or other data without our written permission.
- Transmit harmful, deceptive, or malicious content.
- Interfere with or disrupt the site, its servers, or other users' use of it.
Listing Data and IDX Disclaimer
Property information displayed on the site — including pricing, square footage, lot size, year built, features, and photographs — is provided for general informational purposes only. Some information is sourced from one or more Multiple Listing Services (MLS) or directly from owners and builders. While we make reasonable efforts to keep this information current and accurate:
- Information is not guaranteed. Listings are subject to change, sale, withdrawal, or removal without notice. Prices, status, and availability may differ from what is shown here.
- Independent verification is recommended. Buyers should independently verify all information — including measurements, condition, school zones, taxes, HOA dues, and any material facts — with qualified professionals before making any decision.
- Off-market and private listings. Some properties John represents are not displayed here at all. Inclusion on the site is not exhaustive.
No Agency Relationship by Use of the Site
Browsing the site, submitting a contact form, or interacting with the chat widget does not by itself create a real estate agency or fiduciary relationship between you and John Thompson Real Estate. A representation relationship is established only by a separately signed written agreement. Until such an agreement is in place, communications via this site are exploratory and do not create representation, exclusivity, or any obligation by either party.
Photographs, Renderings, and Visual Content
The site includes photographs, renderings, AI-generated imagery, and stylized illustrations used for visual presentation. Some imagery is illustrative and may not depict an actual property referenced on the same page. Where AI-generated imagery is used as mood or category illustration, it is intended to represent style and tone, not the literal property. Buyers should always view actual properties in person before making decisions.
Intellectual Property
All content on the site — including text, graphics, logos, the John Thompson name and likeness, imagery, and software — is owned by John Thompson Real Estate or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from this content without our prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial use.
Third-Party Links and Services
The site may include links to or integrations with third-party websites and services (for example, MLS systems, mapping providers, calendar scheduling, or analytics). We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of those third parties. Your interactions with them are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Equal Housing Opportunity
John Thompson Real Estate is committed to the letter and spirit of U.S. policy for the achievement of equal housing opportunity throughout the nation. We encourage and support an affirmative advertising and marketing program in which there are no barriers to obtaining housing because of race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, or national origin.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, nor do we warrant the accuracy or completeness of any property information or other content displayed.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, John Thompson Real Estate, its principals, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless John Thompson Real Estate and its principals, employees, and affiliates from any claim, demand, or damage arising out of your breach of these Terms or your unlawful or wrongful use of the site.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under or relating to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
