John Thompson was born and raised in Texas, where he learned early that the best deals are built on trust, not transactions. With over 15 years in luxury real estate and more than $500 million in commercial and residential transactions, he has earned his place among Texas's most respected agents — a Top 5 Producer and D Magazine Top 10 for more than 3 consecutive years.
But John's path wasn't the conventional one. Before dedicating himself fully to real estate, he co-founded Buda Juice — growing it to 20+ retail locations now found in Central Market and H-E-B across Texas — and co-franchised the first Nekter Juice Bar locations outside of California, managing multiple locations in Dallas and Houston before selling to a private equity group. That entrepreneurial DNA — the instinct for market timing, negotiation, and long-term vision — is what sets him apart in every deal.
Today, John specializes in Austin's most coveted neighborhoods: Westlake, Lake Travis, Barton Creek, Tarrytown, Rollingwood, and the rapidly evolving communities of Bee Cave, Dripping Springs, and East Austin. His deep builder relationships unlock off-market opportunities most agents never see.
